NEW! MULTIDRAIN UV3 SUBMERSIBLE DRAINAGE PUMPS

We would like to introduce the new stainless steel Jung submersible drainage pumps MultiDrain UV3. These four pumps supplement the MultiDrain series to cover a comprehensive performance spectrum.

The MultiDrain UV3 are particularly suitable for pumping wastewater in mobile applications. Permanently installed, they are used in manholes or collecting tanks, where they also serve to prevent backwater. The pumps will be available from 01.01.2021.

Used for transport, they reliably empty tanks, ponds or swimming pools or, in emergencies, dry flooded cellars. A hose connection and a swing-type check valve (only for mobile use) are already included in the scope of supply. Stationary installed in shafts or collecting tanks, they remove water from laundry rooms, storage rooms or drainage shafts. At the same time, they also serve as backflow protection. For particularly narrow shafts (from 22 cm diameter), the UV3 SF version with a special vertical float switch is ideal.

3D BIM Library for Wastewater & Sewage Pumping Systems, incorporating Jung Pumpen

A New 3D BIM wastewater and sewage e-library means that the selection of floor mounted, wastewater and sewage pumping systems have now become more informative, detailed and easier to specify accurately. 3D BIM enhances Public Heath Engineers working practices.

We have developed the comprehensive 3D BIM library of wastewater pumping systems (incorporating Jung Pumpen pumps) to compliment the recently launched Jung Pumpen 3D BIM library for the Compli sewage lifting station range.

We are now the largest of the two authorised UK Jung Pumpen GmbH distributors/stockiest working directly with the factory in Germany. They are responsible for the specification, supply and support of Jung Pumpen products.

The 3D BIM library portal can be found here and also on our Jung focussed website www.jung-pumps.co.uk

Public Health Engineers can view the products in 3D. They can then configure/select and download a 3D BIM model in over 150 native CAD formats such as Revit, ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, Microstation etc, as well as download a 3D PDF datasheet of their configured product.

This will save engineers and potential customers time and effort by allowing them to incorporate the 3D BIM products into their complete 3D virtual BIM design. The models will also include piping and electrical connection information as well as other technical information, allowing the customer to design piping runs early in the building design phase if wished.

When an engineer downloads a 3D BIM product, they can also link with Pump Technology Ltd.  This allows the technical team to start a conversation with the customer to ensure they have the best solution for their application.

We have partnered with CADENAS UK Solutions to deliver the online 3D product configurators which provide an easy to use 24/7 360 days self-service digital product delivery.

Colin Johnson Managing director CADENAS UK Solutions says:

“Being able to provide and deliver a 3D digital product has become an essential part of a manufactures “go to market” strategy.  No longer are a company’s products the only differentiator in the market, it’s also about ease of doing business which wins the day.”

CADENAS has been providing online 3D product e-Catalogues for over 25 years helping manufactures deliver 3D digital products in over 150 native CAD formats.  The robust technology builds a manufacturer’s configured product “On the Fly” by using the actual APIs of the requested CAD format.  This ensures that smart intelligent 3D product models are delivered directly to the engineer, customer, or prospect enabling them to incorporate these into their designs saving time and money.

The demand for 3D product content has been increasing year on year by over 20% with the downloading of native CAD models and with the current Covid Pandemic this has further increased the demand for 3D digital product content as people adapt and work differently.   CADENAS is now delivering over 72 Million 3D CAD models globally per month.

We have recognised that the market and customers are changing and that over 50% of today’s workforce are Millennials (People born between 1980 and 2000). And in the next 4 years, this will grow to 75% of the global workforce.

Behind the scenes, the technology that supports the online product configurators is a cloud-based solution which allows the Pump Technology configurators to be the “Single Source of the Truth”.  These configurators will be available on the company’s web site but will also be available on mobile Apps. (CADENAS Mobile App).  This means that the products can be viewed/configured in the office or onsite.  Pump Technology products will be instantly available at the fingertips of the engineer on-site delivering all of the up-to-date required product data on demand.

For assistance with pump specification or use of the 3D BIM libraries please contact the dedicated Jung Pumpen team at Pump Technology Ltd, Berkshire.

Claim your £25 Amazon voucher

We’d love to see how you are using our pumps in your applications. We get involved in some quite grand installations but of course, our products are the unseen ones that are hidden underground, behind the loo or in a shut cupboard.

So, we’d love some pictures…this helps others visualise what the end product looks like in situ, can you help us?

All you have to do is

Take a couple of good quality “before” and “after” pictures of an installation featuring equipment from Pump Technology Ltd

Send them to davidj@pumptechnology.co.uk with a few words describing the job and the installation.

If we use them in our marketing or literature we will send you a £25 Amazon voucher to say thank you for showing us how you use our products

Note: Site should be clean and tidy, pictures high resolution (not compressed) and horizontal is usually better than vertical!

So, £25 all for a few words and a couple of clicks of a camera – what’s not to like?

A mobile hand washing facility

A mobile hand washing facility

We happened to be ‘Googling’ and we came across this video. We thought it was so good that we wanted to share it.

This is a great idea and can easily be adopted anywhere in the World. A mobile washing facility for 8 primary school children at a time to ensure they understand and adhere to new hygiene requirements and hand washing. And it’ll last a long time BECAUSE it’s got a Pentair Jung Pumpen pump installed. (the Jung Pumpen u3k Waste Water Pump)

The video is in German, but you only have to watch to see how it works!

Floor Mounted Pumps for Nightingale, emergency hospital

Aldermaston based Pump Technology Ltd. has just supplied a delivery of floor mounted pump systems to the latest Nightingale Hospital for Covid-19 patients in the Birmingham NEC.

Opening on Easter Day, initially with five hundred beds the capacity will be increased in another 12 days when it will be capable of servicing one thousand five hundred beds, or more if required.

To achieve the rapid conversion of the NEC into the country’s second largest Nightingale Hospital in unprecedented time, large teams of medical staff and specialist building services contractors have been working tirelessly 24/7.

Pump Technology Ltd, is proud to have had the opportunity to work with public health consultant and the building services contractor on the specification and supply of wastewater pumps and sewage lifting stations for the numerous wards throughout the hospital.

The Consultants designed the falls and discharge pipe runs. From these, Pump Technology Ltd was able to select the correctly sized EffluMaxi units from its extensive pump and lifting station stock, one of the largest of its kind in the UK. Waste and slops from wards drain into these locally sited floor mounted lifting stations and are then pumped directly to collection points.

Obviously, because of the amazingly short build time, delivery from stock was an essential element for this project.

The EffluMaxi was selected because it is a proven robust wastewater and sewage lifting station, its tough pedigree has been established over many years throughout the UK in public and commercial businesses. Obviously, in the busy and intensive Covid-19 patient environment, reliability is critical and essential.
The units consist of floor mounted lifting stations featuring a common tank with two vortex free flow pumps operated from an integral float for stop/start and duty standby. The simple control panel shows the status of the lifting station. If a pump becomes clogged, the controller will automatically select the standby pump and an alarm will warn maintenance teams that an inspection is required.

MD Jonathan Barker comments

“The Pump Technology Ltd, team are still working and are pleased to support important projects such as the Nightingale Hospitals, as well as maintenance companies throughout the UK, during this crisis, helping to keep essential services operating”.
