Baufix 100 Underground Tank
The Baufix 100 underfloor sump system offers an efficient solution for the removal of effluent from laundries, storage, or cellar areas situated below the backpressure level, requiring minimal construction efforts. It is prohibited to use this system as a collection tank for fecal matter.
The system’s pressure-resistant plastic container is designed for direct integration into the concrete bed without the need for formwork, serving as a collection tank for underfloor pipework. Installation in areas prone to groundwater flooding is conditional upon the implementation of additional protective measures, such as a water-tight concrete shell. This stipulation is due to the PE to concrete connection’s inability to withstand hydrostatic pressure.
